ZSL have put together a weekend of elephant themed fun with talks, activities and so much more, all in aid of conserving the elephant population across the globe.
Elephants are one of the most majestic and beautiful creatures on the planet, but they are severely endangered. However, with the work of ZSL and their conservation efforts, the elephant population is being preserved and slowly growing. ZSL works in Thailand preserving the species, conducting research into diseases and working on ways to allow elephants and humans to co-exist together.
Working in three protected areas, ZSL monitor human and elephant engagement, whilst housing 200 elephants in this landscape, where they are protected.
This elephant appreciation weekend is not only an educational and fun experience for the whole family, but benefits the work of ZSL and the conservation work they do in Thailand for the Asian elephant species.
